Abstract:
This deliverable presents the theoretical work carried out by OPTi WP3 by M8 in respect to modelling consumer preferences and designing efficient incentives and contracts, the relation of this work with both the real and the simulated use cases, some initial theoretical results and sets the scene for the work to be performed in the sequel. The relevant state-of-the-art is also presented where applicable.

Abstract:
This deliverable summarizes the results of the work conducted during the study and analysis phase of the OPTi project. The starting point for the analysis was the industrial and consumer needs, as well as the current state of the art in relevant areas of research.

The report provides a revised state of art in modelling, control and optimisation of DHC systems, passive storage opportunities for DHC systems and Automated Demand Response and incentive mechanisms. Further, the key performance indicators, use-cases and the requirement set for the OPTi system solution are given.

D4.1: Data modelling and management

Abstract:
This deliverable provides system models and specifications for data acquisition, management and access within the OPTi framework. The data access needs of the different OPTi components are summarised and an architecture for suitable storages realising the storage layer are defined. A list of application programming interfaces available for all other components of the OPTi framework as a technical foundation for collaboration on data level is provided.

D6.1: Integration and validation plan

Abstract:
This deliverable presents the planning of the tests that will be performed during the trials in order to enable the proposed KPIs. Each test is presented in detail of how it will be performed and what the presumed outcome will be. A detailed description is also included regarding the involvement of users, data handling and how gender aspects will be taken into consideration in the OPTi project.
